Join us Friday, May 17 for the third annual Project for Advancing Healthcare Stewardship Symposium in the Crosby Room at Northrup on the University of Minnesota campus (virtual components also included). This free, full-day symposium will offer morning and afternoon session options (attend some or all!), and includes lunch. 

Social isolation and loneliness are rarely listed on death certificates, yet according to the New England Journal of Medicine, they may have contributed to the excess deaths from all causes observed during the pandemic, and the U.S. Surgeon General Murthy has called on Americans to take small steps to connect with others and to get to know and understand them. 

Since 2020, we have discovered the community-driven health stewardship work of PAHS offers a powerful response to loneliness, as well as a fertile ground for inspiring new forms of collective action. Our day will include:
